• Local Data: Personal expenses, income, and records stored locally on your device.
• Device Identifier: We use a secure Device ID to enable data recovery for guest users (without login), ensuring your records are not lost during app reinstallation.
• Authentication Data: If you sign in with Google, we collect your Name and Email Address to provide secure cloud backup and group sharing features.
• Group Data: Member Names, Phone Numbers, and shared transactions provided during group creation to facilitate bill splitting.

2. How We Use Your Data

Your data is used exclusively to provide and improve the features of the App, including:

• Managing and splitting personal and group expenses.
• Real-time syncing of group transactions between members.
• Enabling account recovery and cloud backup for both guest and registered users.
• Financial Smart Insights and spending summaries generated from your records.

3. Data Storage and Security

We use industry-standard security measures to protect your data:

• Secure Sync: All cloud data is securely synced and stored using Google Firebase/Firestore servers.
• Privacy First: We do not sell, rent, or share your personal financial records with any third-party advertisers or data brokers.

4. Account and Data Deletion

You have full control over your data.

• Manual Deletion: You can delete specific transactions, records, or groups at any time within the app.
• Permanent Account Deletion: You can use the "Delete Account" feature in the Profile section. This will permanently remove your profile, all synced cloud data, and memberships from our servers. This action is irreversible.

5. Permissions

The App requires Internet Access for cloud syncing and authentication. We do not access your location, contacts, or camera without your explicit additional permission.

6. Third-Party Services

We leverage Firebase Authentication and Firestore (by Google) for secure login and real-time database services. These services handle data according to Google's professional privacy and security standards.
